:: 2200 block of Caughey Road

November 09 - At 2:27pm, units were dispatched to the 2200 block of Caughey Road for a reported structure fire. Captain 470 arrived on location, reported smoke showing and a working fire. Engine 17 responded with a crew of 5 from the temporary quarters at the Millcreek Township Streets Garage and arrived on location within seconds. After arriving on scene, the crew from Engine 17 stretched an 1 3/4" attack line into the trailer through the front door. The crew was encountered with blinding smoke and fire in the kitchen. The fire was knocked down within quickly and overhaul began. Engine 16 arrived on location with Engine 4 and their crews assisted with fire suppression operations. Crews operated on location for about 60 minutes. Command and the Township Fire Investigator remained on location until 5:23pm. Truck 11, Truck 12, Chief 460 and MP-14 responded as well.
