Monroeville ExpoMart

Despite new and varied vendors, more exhibits, and an extrication challenge, attendence appeared down at the Fire Expo held at the Expo Mart in Monroeville Pa. with mostly fire fighters from outside Allegheny county attending.

With the All Star Game and Airshow also in town there were many members whose time was very split up while trying to be on duty for the all star or airshow and still having time to attend the Expo.

Additionally the sudden death of Larry J. Boyle, a long time employee of the Allegheny county Emergency Services, helped to make matters even more complicated as firefighters were also trying to visit were he was laid out in E. Mckeesport.
