04/27/2005 - Liberty Borough - MVA with injuries

Elizabeth Street

Liberty Borough, Station 183 was dispatched for an accident just below South Allegheny High School on Elizabeth Street. The car was apparently traveling too fast and lost control into a utility pole, bringing a light and wires down onto the street. There were 3 injuries, and one female was flown to Mercy hospital. Central Rescue 147 assisted Engine 183-1 and Rescue 183 on scene. Other units on scene included Elizabeth Twp EMS, Liberty police, Port Vue police, and South Allegheny security.
